- Please note, each departure requires a minimum number of participants to operate. Tours will be noted "guarantee" when this number is reached. Please do not book airfare until you have been advised that the tour is guaranteed. Celtic Tours is not responsible for airfare booking on non-guaranteed tours that do not operate.
Small Group Tours
- This tour will operate with a maximum of 24 participants FOR ALL DEPARTURES. Tour will not exceed 24 passengers on any departure to maintain the level of comfort and intimacy on our tours that our customers have come to know and love. Group leaders and travel advisors can look at booking a private departure on any one of our dates. For those who want to tour privately, please contact our group department at [email protected] to find out more. When privately operating a tour, the tour leader/travel advisor can look for a larger coach-size group (on a request basis). That is up to them and their group privately.

Arrive Ireland! Dublin - Roscommon
Morning arrival at Dublin Airport. After clearing customs, collecting luggage and arrival of all international passengers booked by Celtic Tours, a group transfer will depart Dublin Airport for Roscommon and our Castle Hotel. Check-in time at our castle hotel is 3:00 pm. Time then allowed for you to enjoy the grounds of the castle. Nestled in among 40 acres of natural woodland, our secluded estate is waiting to be discovered. Choose from a range of woodland walks or perhaps consider a spa treatment (make sure you book in advance). Tonight, enjoy dinner at the castle. Overnight at Kilronan Castle. (D)

Day 2
Saturday
Roscommon - Sligo - Roscommon
A leisurely departure from our castle hotel, we travel a short distance to the Arigna Mines, where we enjoy the unique Arigna Mining Experience. The surrounding natural scenery where the mine is located is striking. After touring the mine, we travel along scenic Lough Allen to Dromahair and the lake isle of Innisfree, immortalized by the poet William Butler Yeats. Continue on to Sligo Town, where you have free time to explore the history of the area, or perhaps visit the Yeats Library and Art Gallery. This afternoon we travel the short journey back to our castle hotel so you can enjoy some free time and relax before dinner tonight. Overnight at Kilronan. (B,D)

Sunday
Roscommon - Cliffs of Moher - Adare - Killarney
Morning departure from Kilronan Castle. We travel south via the majestic Cliffs of Moher, where we pause and enjoy spectacular views. Continue along the western coastline, as we make our way to charming Killarney town via Lahinch and Adare. In Killarney, we enjoy dinner at our hotel this evening. Killarney is an excellent location to enjoy traditional music, pub entertainment or a traditional top-rated Irish Cabaret show (which can be pre-booked at the time of your reservation on Sunday or Monday for $49 per person). Overnight in Killarney. (B,D)

Monday
Killarney - Dingle Peninsula
A delightful day takes us along the Kerry coast to the Dingle Peninsula, which offers magnificent coastal scenery. Beyond Slea Head, we see the Blasket Islands, the last outpost of Europe. A full-day tour before we return to Killarney. Tonight your evening is free to enjoy dinner on your own. Killarney hosts a wide range of dining and entertainment options for you to choose from. If you didn't opt to book the Irish Cabaret show the night before, it can be arranged tonight for you (at time of booking). Overnight in Killarney. (B)

Tuesday
Blarney - Cobh - Ballycotton, Co. Cork
Depart Killarney, with a stop in Blarney, where we pause for optional visits to the Blarney Woollen Mills and Blarney Castle, perhaps to kiss the famed Blarney Stone. Leaving Blarney, enjoy a panoramic tour (via coach) of Cork City, before traveling the short distance to Cobh (Queenstown), the last port of call for the Titanic. Leaving Cobh, we head to our coastal hotel in Ballycotton, Co. Cork. Enjoy dinner at our hotel. Overnight in Ballycotton, Co. Cork. (B,D)

Wednesday
Cork - Waterford - Kilkenny - Kildare
After breakfast, make, we depart for Waterford and a stop in the Viking city and a visit to the House of Waterford, the beating heart of Waterford's crystal manufacturing. We continue north, with an afternoon stop in Kilkenny, known for its culture, local craftsmanship, renowned eateries and the historic Kilkenny Castle. Time allowed to enjoy the city, before continuing on to County Kildare and our hotel for the next two nights, Baberstown Castle* Hotel. Time to relax before we enjoy dinner at our hotel this evening. Overnight in Kildare. (B,D)
Day 7
Thursday
Dublin - Kildare
After breakfast, we make the short journey to the capital city Dublin. We enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of EPIC, The Irish Emigration Museum. A fantastic interactive experience, which uncovers the dramatic and inspiring stories of the Irish who traveled the world, from early times to the modern day. Following EPIC, you will have free time in the city to explore on your own. Dublin boasts many sites to see such as The Guinness Storehouse, Jamesons Distillery, Museums, Entertainment and more! Return to your coach after a fantastic day and return Barberstown Castle* Hotel, where you will once again enjoy dinner at your hotel. Overnight in Kildare. (B,D)

Friday
Kildare - Tour ends
An early morning transfer takes you to Dublin Airport for the return flight home. Pick up your last-minute gifts at the duty-free shops before boarding your flight. You arrive home the same day. (B)
