Danielle's feedback. Green = good ; Red = bad
  • We didn't spend enough time in London.  Loved London and could have used more time there.  Being that we didn't get to our hotel on Saturday until 5pm that day was pretty much a wash.
  • Paris - glad I went, don't know that I care to go back.  Too busy.
  • Rome - loved, not sure a requirement to go back now that I have been there but want to see other parts of Italy.

Your trip begins in London, where a ride to the top of the London Eye will give you some perspective before you dive into the pubs or set your watch to Big Ben. Tour Buckingham Palace, wander past the Parliament Building, or enjoy afternoon tea with the friendly locals. In Paris, pick up a baguette from a neighborhood boulangerie and head to Luxembourg Gardens for a picnic. Take the requisite picture of the Eiffel Tower before departing for the magnetic Eternal City. Tour Rome's Colosseum, where gladiators once fought for glory, or visit the Vatican City to marvel at the breathtaking artwork of Michelangelo and Botticelli inside the Sistine Chapel.

London - 3 nights

April 5th: Depart for Europe by catching your flight at SJC.

April 6th: Arrive in London

Arrive in London and collect your bags. When you exit customs, your driver will be waiting to escort you to your hotel. Spend the rest of your day exploring this remarkable city.

April 7th:
Eat a good breakfast so you'll have plenty of energy on your day-long tour of Windsor, Stonehenge, and the Roman Baths. When you return, grab dinner and a pint at one of London's lively pubs. Make sure you get lots of sleep so you can enjoy the adventures that await you tomorrow!

WINDSOR, STONEHENGE & BATH WITH ENTRY INTO THE ROMAN BATHS
Windsor Castle: Over 900 years of royal history are waiting for you in Windsor Castle, which is perched high above the River Thames just outside of London. From William the Conqueror all the way through to our current Queen, successive monarchs have lived here and left their mark on what is now the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Your ticket allows entrance to the castle, so you can see for yourself the splendors of St. George's Chapel and the sumptuous state apartments. Windsor itself is a pretty town full of traditional shops and historic pubs. Shakespeare is said to have written his play The Merry Wives of Windsor in one of them! After our visit to Windsor, we drive through Runnymede, where King John signed the Magna Carta.

Stonehenge:The most famous prehistoric monument in the world, and now a world heritage site, Stonehenge stands alone in the vast empty tract of Salisbury plain. Its origins date back nearly 5,000 years and it has been home to pagan religion and spiritual worship, not to mention public debate ever since. What was this vast collection of stones intended for? Was it observatory of the moon, a temple to the sun or an elaborate cemetery? Who were the people who carried and carved these 40 ton rocks? Come and unlock the secrets for yourself and marvel at this remarkable and mysterious feat of ancient engineering and design.

Bath: Bath, another world heritage site, is a beautiful Georgian city with delightful crescents, terraces and architecture. Following our guided tour of the city and entrance to the Roman Baths, there will be plenty of time to shop, explore and take afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms while listening to the string quartet if you choose.

April 8th:
Wake up at your leisure.  This is the perfect day for a trip to the London Eye to reflect back on your time in this remarkable city.

LONDON EYE FAST-TRACK
At 440 feet high, the London Eye is the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of the capital and its famous landmarks. The gradual rotation in one of the 32 high-tech glass capsules takes approximately 30 minutes and gives you an ever-changing perspective of London. A trip to the top will lift you high enough to see up to 25 miles on a clear day. Danielle's feedback. Green = good ; Red = bad
  • British Airways was amazing - great service.
  • Next time, might check into seats with more leg room, at least check the price difference.  Tyler's knees were shoved into the back of the seat in front of him the whole time.

Danielle's feedback. Green = good ; Red = bad
  • Europe hotels do not have washcloths.  I would have brought my own if I knew.
  • Europe hotels do not provide conditioner.  I should have brought my own.
  • Hotel in London and Paris was good.  Hotel room in Rome was way too small for the three of us - overly crowded and gave me anxiety.

Danielle's feedback. Green = good ; Red = bad
  • Was ripped off at one restaurant in Paris by not asking for an itemized receipt.  My fault, but maybe recommend to other travelers.  However, on yelp some reviews said others have asked and were never provided one.  Another recommendation would be to check yelp, after we left ever review on yelp said how they rip off all tourists.  So its well known.
  • Recommend to carry cash and multiple credit cards.  Some taxis would not take credit cards.  Some taxis or places said our card was declined, but then when checking with the bank - no charge was attempted.  One time supposedly every card we gave them was declined until they go to the 4th card.
  • All of the tours were fantastic - wouldn't change any.
  • Day trip to Disneyland - love the fact that we were able to take a bus, wish the pickup time to return to the city wasn't 7pm - we missed fireworks and were in a rush at the end of the day.
